The Farewell Match of the Golden Generation ⚽🏆 was a historic and emotional event hosted by the National Arena on May 25, 2024. This evening was marked by an impressive sporting and artistic show, in which Zenezia had a important role, ensuring flawless organization and an unforgettable experience for all participants.
At this large-scale event, Zenezia was formed by supervisors, coordinators, assistant coordinators, volunteers and helpers. Each team had a well-defined role and contributed crucially to the success of the event.
The access team managed the flow of attendees for both classic and VIP tickets. Access took place at all entrances around the National Arena, where our volunteers assisted participants in scanning tickets at the arena’s turnstiles. This process ensured fast and efficient access, avoiding congestion and ensuring a pleasant experience from the start.
The logistics team had a spectacular mission: arranging a choreography of colored cardboard on the stadium seats to form the message “Come on Romania!”. This initiative added extra excitement and national pride, providing a strong and memorable visual impact to all present.
The team of helpers was involved in scenography, assembly and disassembly of artistic moments and support in sponsor activities, including an emotional moment in which the word “Thank you” was placed in the middle of the stadium, surrounded by tricolor lights.
The merch team was instrumental in managing the outlets for custom merchandise with the national team and preferred member numbers. Members of this team handled product inventories and provided customer service to customers, ensuring a pleasant and efficient shopping experience for event memorabilia and collectibles.
The volunteer accreditation team managed the internal part of the volunteer contracts. Similarly, the team of runners ensured that every volunteer in all teams received enough water and food throughout the laps, thus keeping morale and energy high.
The Golden Generation Farewell Match was a resounding success with support from Zenezia. The participants said goodbye to their sports heroes in an atmosphere full of emotion and joy, and we were proud to be part of this historic moment.
